Mobile Blogging Cheap?

My latest phone bill.... Mouth drop, hands drop, wallet drop, pants even drop. Only my bp went up, AGAIN. :-(

I have been abused!...

By needles that is. The day after my discharge, this is the result of too many poking syringes by student nurses and nurses alike, taking samples at odd hours of the day - Like 3 in the morning. Other then spousal abuse, can there also be a law against excessive blood sampling? :p (just trying my luck)

Last meal

Ok ok. Just for the record. The food here aint THAT bad. But life is full of choices so why torture myself with "sickly" food? I will adopt my Prime Minister's clarion ... Tomorrow i shall order MEE SIAM Mai Hum. Mai Hum... Mai Hum Mai Hum Mai Hum.

Yey! I am going home!

I love you Dr Chan! So, what actually happened? Well, by some freak of nature, i have "natural" HBP. They cant explain why or how. All they can say is that it was not caused by accident, BUT it has to be controlled. Will have to follow up with more checks and reviews after my discharge. Well, thats life. Whatever HIS will shall be.

Ok. Now whats this supposed to be?

Even good photography cannot make this meal appetising.

Belch!

What "Swatch" really means

Guess what happened when i was adjusting the time? Swatch Watches Are That Cheap Honestly!

Charlie's Animal

In honour of the late Aaron Spelling - the next crime-busting trio. Announcing Oinkie, Meh-Meh and MooMoo. Movie tagline "They take no shit. They give no wool. They will have you begging for milk." ... WOW! I am already looking forward to the movie premiere. :-)

I have visitors! Part 2

(Second from left) CK, Eve and Vinson.

I have visitors!

Oodles of Noodles

Trust me. They may look appetizing but certainly not your Karma Sutra type. Opps. I meant Makan Sutra. :-P

Radio GooGoo, Radio GaGa

What is this? Radio keeps playing songs by the former i-didn't-touch-no-kid King of Pop. Is he planning some comeback from his base of operation in Dubai? Creepy considering they just played Way You Make Me Feel over the air. Err.....

The big Kahoona

Yup, the one on the right is Dr Chan - a very senior doctor. He is the one who wants to have me discharged as soon as possible. I praise him for that. A miscommunication on the upcoming appointment happened among the staff; he was not aware why i'm still here. Nonetheless, he said he will have me discharged tomorrow. Cross fingers and eyes and legs and... you get the picture.

Love samples?

It's not surprising to find Singaporeans who will queue, shove, rough out the others in line and even smash glass door all in the name of freebies and samples. This bottle is DEFINATELY not one of those samples anyone's gonna fight over for. I REALLY don't need to tell you what it contains. :-P

I want my Friday lontong!

England breakfast it certainly is not! Sigh... Nevermind, i still have my stash of snacks. Muahahaha!! *Grin*

Hello? Who wants to be a millionaire?

Stupid TNP! Now 4.3 million people know you got plenty money. Hmmm.... Then again, they will have 4.3 million "friends" as well. Waa! Jialat man. Morale of the story? ALWAYS be filial to your parents. :-)

Snack attack time!

Yey! I have snacks to normalise my taste buds back to normal. Can't describe how good they taste like. (Yo! Am not exaggerating)

The Corridor

The next Korean horror movie will be filmed right here in Singapore! Sources from the film company SangGyoHyun (SGH. No relation to the hospital tho) remarked that the hospital had the perfect atmosphere for filming what is thought to be an even bigger blockbuster to The Ring. Channel News Asia is, however, adopting a wait-and-see outlook at the time of this posting.

Get well soon!

Just received this bouquet from my colleagues. So SWEET of them. Thank you Laverne, Vinson, Natalie, Eve, Philip, Su Chin, Edmond and CK. Sorry to miss you out Ed. I just followed the card. Was wondering why my name was mentioned. Hee! Anyone else missing?

Kana kicked out!

Well, the sky is not exactly falling. Apparently they removed some wireless router. Dang! If i knew, i would have had my laptop with me. Double sian lo. :-(

The sky is falling!

Heh... Not exactly Chicken Little but apparently the ceiling is leaking - somewhere. Hence the commotion. Waa, so exciting! (Editor's note: Blogger is extremely bored silly.)

You call this lunch??!

2nd day. Stewed beef and fungus with blanched vegetables... Oh "Yummy". Appetizing? Err... This isn't exactly the ShanGri la Hotel. *Belch*

Doing their rounds

The double-reconfirm system. 3 doctors to discuss the best treatment possible. Slow and steady. Slow and steady. So, according to Dr. Goh (center), i needed another scan which she used her seniority to push for one immediately today. That means i cant go back home today. *Sob*

Watch for falling coconuts?

Not exactly that. What this picture actually means is "fall precautions". Occupant is likely to fall easily and needs assistance. But why a bended coconut tree? Weird.

Waiter, these's chicken in my porridge

Well, thats my breakfast on the second day. Chicken porridge. Now you know why i've always associated porridge with being ill. (Not that i am ill now)

2 B or not 2B

Well, FINALLY they got me to the ward i asked for. Sigh... Somehow the pillow did not follow me and am still waiting for one. Double sigh....

Chicken in the rice

Today's dinner. Not exactly the Chatterbox or Boon Tong Kee equivalent. I just gobbled down and finished it off with the medication. Sian lo.

Stay in Good Health

Damit! One more day they say. Have to endure that woman's constant yelling from across the corridor. Thats why they separated the males and females. Feel like telling her to shaddup. Sigh....

Poke, poke, poke

4 samples of my precious blood drawn from both arms just this morning! Pain and bruise. Stupid nurse can still tell me need to take another sample at 10 tonight. :-( ONE MORE BLOODY DAY HERE! ARRRGGH!

Lunchtime!

Well, this might very well be my last meal.... before i get discharged. Cant say i really enjoyed it. Am glad i am going home.

SGH means Sure Go Home

I take back what i just said about surely going home. :$ Anyway, this cybershot phone and photos made all these possible. Think i can call myself a MobiBlogger. Or MobiJourno. B-)

Homeward bound

Just as i was beginning to bitch about the ward screwup, the Snr Consultant said i was going home today. Dang!

Things that keep me sane

A couple luxuries while warded here. Who's the joker who said SGH means sure go home? Idiot! :@

Wish you were here. :-P

The view from C Class Bed 2. Hope it will be different once they move me to the B2 ward. Arrrgh! :-(

A day in the hospital

Arrived for a checkup and they found my BP was too high and insisted i be admitted immediately. After waiting and waiting, i got a bed and ward, tho not what i asked for. This was my dinner the first night. YUCKS!
